Let me take you on a T K Namibia Tours journey...
T K Namibia tours is a truly Namibian owner- Managed safari and tour operator company.
T K Namibia Tours started a long time back in 2002 as a dream. At that time Steven Uarije (known as "TK") was a freelance tour guide in Kaokoland in the northern part of Namibia. Steven Uarije was born in the Opuwo area, in Kunene Region and it is where he went to school as a child.
Steven Uarije has 8 years of experience in the tourism industry. I worked as a translator for anthropologists, researchers, photographers, and TV crews from around the world, and I worked a freelance tour guide for 8 years.
In 2008 I met my wife in Namibia, she was a JICA volunteer in Namibia for 2 years. In 2010 we got married and moved to Japan, where we have lived for 8 years. We have three kids - 2 girls and 1 boy.
I can speak Japanese very well, but I don't read the kanji, although I can read and write hirakana and katakana.
My dream was to come back one day and start TK Namibia Tours, and so in May 2018 TK Namibia Tours was offically born. TK Namibia Tours is based in Okahandja city, which is 60 km from the Windhoek. Steven is the CEO and owner of the TK Namibia Tours company.

Best Time to Visit Namibia:
Namibia has an average of 300 sunny days a year. The rainy season is usually during the summer months (November to April). Within a few days, dry river beds turn into raging rivers and the country awakens in a lush green.
The best time to visit depends on your interests and which regions you want to visit but generally April to October are ideal for exploring this country.
In April and May the temperatures are around 25 degrees during the day with a blue sky stretching across the country. At night temperatures cool down.
In the dry winter months (June to August), temperatures in some regions can drop below freezing, but during the day they can climb up to a sunny 20 degrees.
Namibia’s summer months (November to April) can be extremely hot, so many Namibians travel to the much cooler coast.
The capital, Windhoek, is also bearable during the summer months and occasionally refreshed by short downpours.
